Sparta blends 80% wool with 20% goat hair, giving it a somewhat coarser texture than our 100% wool weaves. We love all the shade and texture variation this European wool offers—variations in the size of the loop create a striped pattern.
All of our tufted wool rugs are custom made to order. Edges are machine-finished with a “serged-to-blend" overcast stitch (click here for image), using a yarn that closely matches the rug. Pricing for standard size area rugs is below and includes free shipping. If you need a custom size, this weave costs $14.88 per square foot—including all production and edge finish charges.
