Calypso Urethane is the same perennial classic Calypso with the added durability and cushioning of a 1/4" urethane backing.
Versatile Design: With rich texture and neutral tones, Calypso complements a range of interior styles, making it a favorite among designers for over 20 years.
Comfort & Durability: The urethane backing adds extra cushion and strength, while still allowing the natural charm of seagrass to shine through.
Indoor Use: Best suited for dry, climate-controlled indoor environments, Calypso is a natural canvas for living rooms, bedrooms, and other indoor spaces.
Acclimation: All new seagrass rugs and carpet have an earthy scent and greenish hue that naturally fade with time. They are also prone to slight shrinkage.

NOTE ABOUT SEAGRASS ON STAIRS
We recommend using an experienced installer that specializes in flat weave carpet installation.
We do not recommend installing Urethane-backed Seagrass on stairs.
For best results when installing seagrass on stairs, we recommend rotating the weave direction 90* and using the weave width as the length running down the stairs. This may require use of a seam.

METHOD
Standard/ Curbside Delivery: Standard curbside delivery means your rug will be delivered by one driver to the curb or to your driveway. The driver is not responsible for carrying your rug into your home or office, unpacking the rug, unrolling it or clearing away packaging. Curbside delivery on all orders is FREE. If you need additional services, consider Enhanced Delivery.
Oversized Rugs: For oversized items, we recommend enhanced delivery service, by appointment.
Enhanced Delivery: This service offers various levels of inside delivery options which may include the following:
over the threshold delivery
placement in the room of the customer’s choice (including up or down one flight of stairs)
unpacking
removal of packaging
assembly and placement of the items
We are happy to provide a quote upon request, taking into account the delivery address and service level preferred. Please state the best delivery contact name and phone number when checking out as the delivery company will need a valid contact number to reach you. Someone must be present at the time of delivery.
