Rich Texture: Cyprus's small, basketweave structure highlights the natural beauty and shade variations of seagrass.
Comfort Underfoot: With a 1/4" urethane backing, this weave has extra cushioning and increased durability.
Low Allergen: Seagrass fibers are static-free and do not attract dust, promoting a cleaner, low-allergen environment—ideal for allergy-sensitive homes.
Stain-Resistant: Seagrass is non-porous and resistant to staining, perfect for pets and children. For added protection, Sisal-Guard can be applied to reduce staining.
Other Features
Indoor Use: Seagrass is sensitive to moisture and humidity, so we recommend using Cyprus in dry, climate-controlled areas.
Acclimation: Expect a natural earthy scent and greenish hue when new, which will fade over time. Seagrass rugs may experience slight shrinkage.
Rug Pads: A rug pad is still recommended under area rugs for added comfort and safety.
Alternative Backing: Cyprus is also available with a natural latex backing.

NOTE ABOUT SEAGRASS ON STAIRS
We recommend using an experienced installer that specializes in flat weave carpet installation.
We do not recommend installing Urethane-backed Seagrass on stairs.
For best results when installing seagrass on stairs, we recommend rotating the weave direction 90* and using the weave width as the length running down the stairs. This may require use of a seam.

METHOD
Standard/ Curbside Delivery: Standard curbside delivery means your rug will be delivered by one driver to the curb or to your driveway. The driver is not responsible for carrying your rug into your home or office, unpacking the rug, unrolling it or clearing away packaging. Curbside delivery on all orders is FREE. If you need additional services, consider Enhanced Delivery.
Oversized Rugs: For oversized items, we recommend enhanced delivery service, by appointment.
Enhanced Delivery: This service offers various levels of inside delivery options which may include the following:
over the threshold delivery
placement in the room of the customer’s choice (including up or down one flight of stairs)
unpacking
removal of packaging
assembly and placement of the items
We are happy to provide a quote upon request, taking into account the delivery address and service level preferred. Please state the best delivery contact name and phone number when checking out as the delivery company will need a valid contact number to reach you. Someone must be present at the time of delivery.
