St. Martin is one of our braided jute weaves and is offered in eight harmonizing colors. The long, shiny jute fibers are chosen for their complementary hues and firmly spun, making it a strong weave yet still soft to the touch. The color combinations and the natural luster of jute will stand out in any surrounding. Jute is a natural plant product and 100% biodegradable and thus, belongs among the most environment-friendly fibers.
Being a natural product and braided by hand, variations and imperfections in color or weave pattern are normal and part of the unique beauty of natural floor coverings and do not constitute a defect. Please see more information in the Specifications tab.
Note: The jute braid binding option creates a braided finish on two sides (the top and the bottom) and is approximately 1" high.

This weave is braided by hand. Due to the handcrafted construction and unusually thick yarns of this product, bowing and skewing is common and an inconsistency in the linear 4" braid is possible.
Natural jute fibers have variations in color. Natural, undyed jute varies in color from light tans to light browns. Each rug will show this entire color range.
Sprouting may occur, where short ends that have been tied and tucked during the weaving process pop up. You may trim these sprouts with scissors (do not pull).
Husks of the jute plant may be found within the weave.
In time, all jute rugs exposed to sunlight will change in color.
These natural, inherent variations add to the beauty of jute rugs and are not considered defects.
No claims for bowing, skewing, sprouting, husks or color variations will be honored.

Standard/ Curbside Delivery: Standard curbside delivery means your rug, carpet, or tile order will be delivered by one driver to the curb or the driveway. The driver is not responsible for carrying your item into your home or office, unpacking it, unrolling it or clearing away packaging. Curbside delivery on all orders is FREE. If you need additional services, consider Enhanced Delivery.
SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT SISAL TILES: A minimum tile order of 4 or more cases will ship on a pallet via a freight truck. You can request a liftgate at the time of delivery for an upcharge. Each case weighs 60 lbs with a 50 lbs pallet. Remember, Standard Delivery delivers the item to your curb or driveway, not into your home or office. Please consider Enhanced Delivery if you cannot easily or safely handle the tile cases.
Oversized Rugs: For oversized items, we recommend enhanced delivery service, by appointment.
Enhanced Delivery: This service offers various levels of inside delivery options which may include the following:
over the threshold delivery
placement in the room of the customer’s choice (including up or down one flight of stairs)
removal of packaging
assembly and placement of the items
We are happy to provide a quote upon request, taking into account the delivery address and service level preferred. Please state the best delivery contact name and phone number when checking out as the delivery company will need a valid contact number to reach you. Someone must be present at the time of delivery.
