Biscayne Urethane is a 100% seagrass weave featuring a bold basketweave pattern and a 1/4" urethane backing for added cushion and stability.
Added Comfort: The 1/4" urethane backing adds an extra layer of comfort and strength, ideal for indoor gathering spaces.
Classic Basketweave: Biscayne’s basketweave pattern, with its rich texture and natural variations, brings a warm, organic look to any room.
Renewable Fiber: Seagrass is a renewable and non-toxic material, grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
Low Allergen: Seagrass fibers are static-free and do not attract dust, creating a cleaner, low-allergen environment for your home.
Stain-Resistance: Thanks to seagrass's smooth waxy coating, spills and accidents are easy to clean. Great for pet-friendly homes and high-traffic areas. For added protection, you can apply Sisal-Guard for an extra layer of spill and stain resistance.

Indoor Use: Designed for indoor spaces, seagrass should be used in dry, climate-controlled settings to prevent mold or mildew growth.

Acclimation: All new seagrass products show a greenish tint that ages over time into a warm tan and have a slight hay-like scent which fades within a few weeks.

NOTE ABOUT SEAGRASS ON STAIRS
We recommend using an experienced installer that specializes in flat weave carpet installation.
We do not recommend installing Urethane-backed Seagrass on stairs.
For best results when installing seagrass on stairs, we recommend rotating the weave direction 90* and using the weave width as the length running down the stairs. This may require use of a seam.

METHOD
Standard/ Curbside Delivery: Standard curbside delivery means your rug will be delivered by one driver to the curb or to your driveway. The driver is not responsible for carrying your rug into your home or office, unpacking the rug, unrolling it or clearing away packaging. Curbside delivery on all orders is FREE. If you need additional services, consider Enhanced Delivery.
Oversized Rugs: For oversized items, we recommend enhanced delivery service, by appointment.
Enhanced Delivery: This service offers various levels of inside delivery options which may include the following:
over the threshold delivery
placement in the room of the customer’s choice (including up or down one flight of stairs)
unpacking
removal of packaging
assembly and placement of the items
We are happy to provide a quote upon request, taking into account the delivery address and service level preferred. Please state the best delivery contact name and phone number when checking out as the delivery company will need a valid contact number to reach you. Someone must be present at the time of delivery.
