  • Indoor Use: Best suited for indoor, dry spaces like living rooms, bedrooms, and hallways. Prolonged exposure to moisture may lead to mold or mildew growth.

  • Custom Finishing: Create a designer look with a cloth border crafted from basketweave linen, faux leather, polyester, or cotton canvas, or opt for a classic serged edge.

  • Rug Pad Recommended: For extra comfort and floor protection, a rug pad is recommended to prevent slipping and extend the life of your seagrass rug.

  • Distinct Color & Scent: All new seagrass products show a greenish tint that ages over time into a warm tan and have a slight hay-like scent which fades within a few weeks.

  • Optional Backing: Biscayne is also available with a urethane backing for enhanced durability.

NOTE ABOUT SEAGRASS ON STAIRS

  • We recommend using an experienced installer that specializes in flat weave carpet installation.

  • We do not recommend installing Urethane-backed Seagrass on stairs.

  • For best results when installing seagrass on stairs, we recommend rotating the weave direction 90* and using the weave width as the length running down the stairs. This may require use of a seam.

METHOD

Standard/ Curbside Delivery: Standard curbside delivery means your rug will be delivered by one driver to the curb or to your driveway. The driver is not responsible for carrying your rug into your home or office, unpacking the rug, unrolling it or clearing away packaging. Curbside delivery on all orders is FREE. If you need additional services, consider Enhanced Delivery.

Oversized Rugs: For oversized items, we recommend enhanced delivery service, by appointment. 

Enhanced Delivery: This service offers various levels of inside delivery options which may include the following: 

  • over the threshold delivery

  • placement in the room of the customer’s choice (including up or down one flight of stairs)

  • unpacking

  • removal of packaging

  • assembly and placement of the items

We are happy to provide a quote upon request, taking into account the delivery address and service level preferred. Please state the best delivery contact name and phone number when checking out as the delivery company will need a valid contact number to reach you. Someone must be present at the time of delivery.

Any additional services? Please make a note during checkout of any needs that are above and beyond the enhanced delivery description, and we will gladly give you a quote. Examples include:
